2026–27 Fall Season — Virtual Scratch League

ESL Scratch Tour 2026-27

A season-long look at the house’s best, on real scores: the house's top average bowlers from the fall league rosters — 40 bowlers — entered without bowling anything extra. Each bowler’s regular league night in their home league is their score, week for week. League weeks 1–16 qualify on total scratch pins and the top 16 go through; weeks 17–28 are head-to-head match play, one opponent a week, and the top 5 go through; weeks 29–32 are the stepladder finals.

Where It Stands

Through week 7.

QualifyingLeague weeks 1–16Total scratch pins. A cut is made only once every eligible league has bowled the phase's last week. The cut to 16 comes after week 16.

Match playLeague weeks 17–28Pairings come from the qualifying seeds: 1 v 16, 2 v 15 and so on.

StepladderLeague weeks 29–325 v 4, then the winner against 3, 2 and finally the top seed. Three games, higher total advances.

Standings

Scratch series by league week. A missed night counts zero pins. A pre- or post-bowl counts for the league week it was for, at the score bowled. Qualifying ties: fewer games bowled (the higher average) first, then high series, then high game, then the most strikes across the qualifying weeks. A cut line still tied after that is decided by Joe with a roll-off, never by average.

A missed night forfeits the match 0-4 and scores zero pins. If both bowlers miss, no points are awarded. Match-play standings by points, then head-to-head if the two met, then total pins, then high series, then qualifying seed. A tied stepladder match goes to the higher single game, then more strikes in the match, then the higher seed. A makeup that lands after a cut counts toward the bowler's total but does not reopen the cut. The champion is declared once every eligible league has completed week 32.
